• What does your ideal partnership look like?

  We love to enter the conversation as early in the process as possible. This allows us to squeeze every drop of potential out of each shot and story. We love to collaborate with production companies and agencies on storyboards, animatics, and pre-visualization. We’re currently developing our Cine Tracer workflow for advanced pre-visualization: blocking, choreography, lighting design.

• Is Robot Village a Production Company?

  We are not a production company. We are a nimble, cohesive team dedicated to the art of camera movement. Our emphasis on freedom of movement and creativity is fueled by artistry and a mastery of moving pictures. Our purpose is to serve each shot with a spirit of inspiration, ingenuity, imagination, technical expertise, and craft. We've mastered complex builds so that you can focus on creative direction rather than the nerd stuff.

• Do you always use a MōVI?

  The Freefly MoVI Pro is our tool of choice for smaller camera packages up to ALEXA MINI with Angenieux EZ Zoom. For larger camera builds the Ronin 2 is our preferred gimbal. We also love shooting without gimbals when visceral movement helps tell a better story.
